The pediatric nephrologists provide the most advanced care for diseases of the kidney and urinary tract, including prenatal diagnosis and postnatal management of congenital anomalies of the genitourinary tract, nephrotic syndrome, acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, acute and chronic renal failure, end-stage renal disease, hypertension, hematuria, proteinuria, renal tubular acidosis, and fluid and electrolyte abnormalities.

Care is provided for patients with vitamin D-resistant rickets, renal calculi, renal insufficiency, cystic kidney disease, renal stone disease, autoimmune diseases and patients requiring home dialysis.
