Sports Medicine
Our sports medicine specialist provides care for acute and chronic activity related non-operative problems. Comprehensive care is provided for all musculoskeletal injuries for all body parts (sprains, strains, and dislocations), overuse injuries such as shin splints, stress fractures or spondylolysis, and simple fractures or avulsions. In addition, medical problems treated include concussion, female athlete triad, heat illness, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, activity related syncope, chest pain or difficulty breathing, nutritional and hydration assessment, running shoe analysis and prescription, and performance enhancing substance counseling.
Our physician works closely with sports physical therapists, athletic trainers and orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive care. We also offer educational services to the community on a variety of topics.
Adolescent Medicine
Our adolescent medicine specialist provides consultative care to patients 10-21 years of age for acute and chronic conditions. Services are provided for female gynecologic evaluation and treatment (STI, PCOS, contraception, menstrual problems), male STI and genitourinary problems, obesity, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, acne, chronic fatigue, and musculoskeletal injuries.
