Division of Hematology/OncologyDivision Members:
Our physicians are all board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology, and each has completed additional training in pediatric hematology/oncology.
The hematology/oncology physicians provide a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic and comprehensive care services for infants, children and
adolescents with blood disorders or malignancies. In addition, the division offers special multispecialty comprehensive programs for patients
under 21 years of age with sickle cell disease, bleeding or clotting disorders, brain tumors and survivors of childhood cancer. The division
members are active participants in the Children's Oncology Group, an international organization dedicated to the discovery of optimal treatments
for childhood cancer. The Bleeding Disorders Center of Hampton Roads is a part of the network of federally funded hemophilia treatment centers.
