Division of Psychology

The division of psychology specializes in services for children with acute and chronic behavioral illnesses. They provide management of common behavioral problems for children and work closely with the healthcare team to evaluate and provide the necessary therapy for your child.

Dr. Wasylyshyn has clinical interests in medical noncompliance, adjustment to illness, psychosomatic complaints and parent training. She received her PhD degree in clinical psychology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Wasylyshyn completed her post-doctoral training in pediatric psychology at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.

The division of psychology sees patients between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Inpatient consultation are provided. The office is located on the 2nd floor of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters
